Today is the first match of Airte T20 champion’s league between Mumbai Indians and Lions.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field first.

Playing first Lions scored 186/5. From the lions side two batsman played very well and the names are JD Vandiar and ND Mckezine. They scored 71 and 56 on 48 and 30 balls.

Indian team has elected not to play any warm up cricket match before the t20 world cup 2010 but Indian Women Cricket team will play practice matches. As per virender sehwag playing in IPL T20 cricket matches is much better then practicing on net for 4 hours. Yes this is true, just before the T20 world cup cricket matches, entire Indian team would have practiced lots of matches in IPL t20 so there is no further need to play any practice or warm up matches.

Both the teams could not start well and their four opening batsman went to pavilion quickly.

From the CSK Vijay, Hayden, DHoni and Raina went on 17, 1, 0 and 15. Highest runs from CSK Innings were from S Badrinath side 30 on 29 balls.
